LAW OFFICES OF DEUTSCH & SCHNEIDER RESUME The law office of DEUTSCH & SCHNEIDER LLP has been in existence since 1957. The original partners were PETER DEUTSCH and SIDNEY SCHNEIDER. PETER DEUTSCH passed away in July of 1982 and SIDNEY SCHNEIDER retired in 1996, but the name DEUTSCH & SCHNEIDER LLP continues. In 1993, JOSHUA DEUTSCH became a partner. Our firm consists of two partners, JOSHUA DEUTSCH and BRIAN M. GOLDBERG, one associate attorney and two attorneys of counsel . Additionally, we employ two paralegals and a support staff of ten. JOSHUA DEUTSCH graduated from BROOKLYN LAW SCHOOL in 1988. He is admitted to the New York State Bar and the United States District Courts for the Eastern and Southern Districts of New York. He is also a member of the New York State Bar Association, New York State Trial Lawyers and Queens County Bar Associations. His areas of concentration are general foreclosure law, real estate transactions, litigation, (including contested foreclosures, evictions, deficiency judgments and closings), mortgage financing, leasing, estate planning, litigation and administration, and plaintiff's negligence practice . He was admitted to both the New York and New Jersey State Bar in 2000, as well as the United States District Court for the Eastern, Southern, Western and Northern Districts of New York. He is also a member of the New York State Bar Association and Nassau County Bar Association. His areas of concentration are real estate transactions and litigation, estate planning and administration, negligence, commercial law, including Internet related law, and litigation. She is also admitted to the United States District Courts for the Eastern, Northern, Southern and Western Districts of New York. She is also a member of the Queens and Nassau County Bar Associations. Her areas of concentration are secured creditor's and debtor's rights in bankruptcy proceedings, mortgage foreclosure litigation, real estate litigation, and matrimonial law. DorisB@dandslaw.com SIDNEY SCHNEIDER retired from active practice in 1996 yet remains of counsel to the firm. He graduated from BROOKLYN LAW SCHOOL and was admitted to the New York State Bar in 1958 and is admitted to the United States District Court for the Eastern and Southern Districts of New York and the United States Supreme Court. He served for a period of ten years (1967-1977) as a LAW ASSISTANT, at various times, to New York State Supreme Court Justices HAROLD HYMAN and GEORGE NICHOLS, and to United States District Court Judge HENRY BRAMWELL. He is also a member of the New York State Bar Association and the Kings and Queens County Bar Associations. His areas of concentration include real estate transactions, leasing and estate practice. Our office support staff is comprised of experienced individuals in their respective areas of specialty. Our office is also divided into separate departments for real property foreclosures, bankruptcy, cooperative apartment foreclosures, assignments, REO and closings. At present, the Law Firm of Deutsch & Schneider LLP, has its main office in Glendale, Queens. The firm also maintains satellite offices in Manhattan and Long Island to service clients and their legal matters across the State of New York. |
